The hardest thing to do on a weekend is get up early and go to office.Grrrrr!!!

Though we were at office, we did not miss the weekend fun. ME and my colleagues went out for lunch. We all wanted to try a different cuisine, so we chose DON PEPE which was near our office.

Don pepe is mexican restaurant, i should say Its an Indianized Mexican restaurant. Most of us were vegetarians, so i can review only one vegggie stuff.
We started with mocktails, some Strawberry, lime margherita’s and pina coloda along with three starters: Nachos, Quesdillas and some gobi fry (Some people still wanted Indian stuff).

The main course were,
Cannalona El paso: This is a pasta sheet stuffed with panner and spinach (Now you know why i said Indianized Mexican cuisine). Even the spices were Indianish but they did use some herbs and a lot of cheese to make it mexican.
Verde Cilantro: This is some vegetable gravy served with parsley rice, fried potatos and garlic bread. Again, that gravy was more or like Indianish with baby corns. But this had very less cheese.
Vegetable Priyazo: This again like verde cilantro but difference is that you can either choose pastas or parsley rice.

We ordered more of Garlic breads since we had more gravy to eat. Now coming to the yummiest part of the meal… The Desserts!!!! People who have sweet tooth and crave for chocolates, cab try out Desserts here. But the varieties were minimal.

We ordered Chocolate Rum Mousse and Chocolate fudge brownie. That was oooomph!!!! I love chocolate, so i’ve totally fallen for it 🙂

Sunday was as usual resting day for me.

My next weekend plan:

Paarthu has plans to come to Chennai, so might go out for buffet (lunch/dinner) or a movie (Rab ne bana di jodi). Its been a long time i saw a Hindi movie, might try out this one.

Oh wow… Aadi and annual clearance sale is happening in all the retail shops including Levis store.

That’s how i got excited and went to Tngr and spencers for shopping, this weekend. I had another reason to shop, but lets not concentrate on that.

Saturday was dedicated to Tngr but found nothing on the stores for me. But i still found people shopping and buying stuff for them and for their kids.

The crowd was mostly of women and kids. SOME women, they did not know the queue ethics at all. That was very annoying, and they look educated too. Anyway i don’t have to comment on this too much

I went up and down in all the stores. Guess it was my unlucky Saturday.

I went to spencers on Sunday… For me Pantaloons and Westside are the place where i get stuff for me and that is wearable according to me. But the disadvantage is that i have to pay for their brand too. I spent a huge sum buying western formals and some casuals.

Tngr is little cheaper but no proper readymade wearable stuff i get there!!! Guess i have to research more on shops and find out which is the ideal place….
